Bidding
- A bid is a promise to pay if you win. Bids can’t be withdrawn. If you made a mistake, contact us right away.
- Each fundraiser lists how many items are up for bid. The highest bids when bidding closes each win one item and pay their own bid.
- A “max bid” lets the site raise your bid for you, one step at a time, only as far as needed and never above your max.
- A bid placed in the final minutes may extend the closing time so everyone gets a fair chance.
- Ties go to whoever reached the amount first.
- Winners get a payment link by email. If a winner doesn’t pay by the deadline, the item may be offered to the next highest bidder.
- Organizers may remove bids that look fake or abusive.
Sales
- Some fundraisers sell barbecue at set prices instead of holding an auction. You pay when you order, and your order is reserved once payment goes through.
- Limited items are first come, first served.
- Orders placed through a seller’s link are credited to that seller. Sellers are shown only by first name and last initial.
Payments
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Covering the processing fee is optional.
- Winning bids are purchases and gifts that benefit an individual are generally not tax-deductible. Please ask your tax advisor.
- Fundraiser purchases and gifts are final. If something went wrong, contact us and we’ll make it right.
Pickup
Pickup details are on each fundraiser’s page and in your receipt. Food is prepared fresh; please keep it hot or refrigerated and reheat safely.
